What Founders Need to Know about Investment Term Sheets in Malaysia
How to deal with 'pushy' investors?
What is the first thing to do when you received the investment term sheet by an investor?
Join Izwan as he shares other common dilemma faced by founders when it comes to negotiating and dealing with investment term sheets in Malaysia.
The investment term sheet is the first time that you will see the terms on which an investor is prepared to invest in your company. Although there is no single format (term sheets can be very short and general or very detailed too), the commercial and investment terminologies can be confusing. There is often time pressure to agree on terms to receive funding. As an early-stage entrepreneur or founder, it can be easy to misunderstand the other side’s intentions and potentially waste valuable time and resources (on both sides!).
Participants: The workshop aims at founders and management teams approaching an early-stage funding round.
